The first model depicts the museum in 1/16 scale, where all the wall have been removed.  The floor plan has been laser etched into acrylic. What is left are the columns and iconic barrel vaults, which bear a striking resemblance to Classic Roman Architecture.
The Second model shows a section of the museum in 1/4 scale. it depicts the top floor and vaulted roof, along with a skylight. The roof raises off of the model, showing it's connection to a specific piece of Roman Architecture: Hadrian's villa. This shows Kahn's inspiration for the museum.
The documentation created was standard, with a focus on how strikingly similar the museum is to Hadrian's Villa.
